<p>The First Neiro On Ethereum price surged 154% in the last 24 hours to trade at <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/first-neiro-on-ethereum/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$0.00002574</a> as of 4.20 a.m. EST on trading volume that surged 243% to $8.9 million.</p>
<p>The pump came after Ethereum’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin sold a 17 billion chunk of a NEIRO coin that was airdropped by its developer, apparently to help boost its profile.</p>
<p>That all came amid massive confusion in the community over the identity of the coin at issue after a huge number of NEIRO tokens launched since last week.</p>
<p>The launches came after the owner of Kabosu, the late Shiba Inu canine who birthed the Dogecoin meme coin, announced the adoption of a new Shiba Inu dog called Neiro.</p>
<p>A Coin Telegraph article on the development was refuted by NEIRO, leaving most in the community none the wiser as to what had happened.</p>
