Security in the <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/china-and-hong-kong-could-connect-crypto-exchanges/" data-wpel-link="internal">cryptocurrency</a> world has always been a major concern. However, the recent attack on Ronin Bridge has brought these concerns to light once again. According to PeckSheldAlert monitoring data, approximately 4,000 ETH, worth $10 million, was stolen in this attack today. This situation has caused a significant shock within the Ronin community. 
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="ronin-attacks-from-past-to-present">Ronin Attacks from Past to Present</h2> 
The Ronin project had previously suffered two major attacks. In February 2024, the wallet address of the co-founder of Axie/Ronin was <a href="https://newslinker.co/what-is-cybersecurity/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="exclude">hacked</a>, resulting in the loss of $9.7 million worth of cryptocurrency. However, the biggest blow came on March 29, 2022.

At that time, Ronin, the sidechain of Axie Infinity, announced that a validator node had been hacked, and a total of 173,600 ETH and 25.5 million USDC, worth $615 million, had been stolen. Such attacks expose the security vulnerabilities of Blockchain projects and undermine user trust. 
Following this latest attack, community members reported that their assets could not be viewed or liquidated. This situation caused widespread panic among users. The Ronin team took immediate measures to ensure user safety and announced that their services had been suspended.
