<a href="https://www.esma.europa.eu/esmas-activities/digital-finance-and-innovation/markets-crypto-assets-regulation-mica" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">MiCA regulation</a> is now a pivotal focus as the French financial authority, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), begins accepting applications from companies desiring to offer crypto services. This preparatory step aims to ensure readiness for the MiCA regulation set to commence in December 2024. Since August 2, the AMF has been inviting firms to apply to become authorized service providers under the new rule. 
The AMF’s proactive approach aims to organize and secure the European crypto market. By urging early applications, the AMF intends to facilitate a smooth transition to the new regulatory framework.
