Ubisoft announced that it will collaborate with Arbitrum (ARB) and Sequence for its latest project, Captain Laserhawk: the GAME.
This new Web3 game will expand the universe of the popular series Captain Laserhawk A Blood Dragon Remix, produced by Ubisoft for Netflix. The game will feature iconic characters from well-known series such as Assassin's Creed, Rayman and Beyond Good and Evil.
It will be built on Captain Laserhawk: the GAME Arbitrum.
Ubisoft's previous attempt at non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint in 2021 was met with significant fan backlash and prompted major gaming companies to approach Web3 games more cautiously.

Blockchain features in Arbitrum allow us to give the community a real voice in shaping the story, gameplay, and even side experiences. “This promotes transparency and co-creation, paving the way for a truly collaborative future for Captain Laserhawk.”
