The proposal, posted on Tuesday, seeks to amend rules to allow options trading on this spot Ethereum exchange-traded fund.</p>

<p>The filing <a href="https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/sec-standard-chartered-analyst-predicts-45-billion-inflow-for-ether-etf-in-first-year/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">indicates</a> that offering options on the Trust aims to benefit investors by providing a cost-effective tool for gaining exposure to spot ether and a hedging mechanism for ether-related investments.
