Launched just a year ago, the 1inch Developer Portal continues to gain momentum, expanding its suite of cutting-edge tools for Web3 builders. As part of its ongoing expansion, the Web3 RPC API was added to the portal, providing developers with efficient and robust RPC blockchain interactions without the need to operate their own node.

Leveraging our vast experience with nodes and the continuous need for dependable node access in 1inch operations, we ensure that our RPC service for Web3 developers is both secure and reliable.

While, previously, projects integrating 1inch APIs had to go elsewhere for RPC services, now, they can get an efficient tool for interacting with the blockchain without leaving the 1inch ecosystem.

Meanwhile, a recent update to Ledger made 1inch Fusion swaps even safer and more convenient for users of the popular hardware wallet.

In a keynote presentation at EthCC in Brussels, Charles Guillemet, Ledger’s CTO, demonstrated an upgrade to the device, highlighting 1inch Fusion to illustrate how its innovative Clear Signing feature improves transaction signing security in the hardware wallet for users.

As 1inch continues to reach out to potential users outside the crypto realm, we were thrilled to unveil the second stage of its partnership with major MMA promoter OKTAGON MMA, aimed at onboarding Web2 audiences to 1inch products.

Under the second stage of the partnership, 1inch will support a series of ten MMA tournaments.

In other news, 1inch Portfolio was updated with the Explore feature and the 1inch Wallet’s v1.26 for Android was released, with a refreshed swap interface and enhanced scam protection. Simultaneously, the 1inch Wallet’s v2.5.0 for iOS came out, featuring a refreshed Receive screen and enhanced scam protection.

Also in July, we announced a series of new partnerships, including DexNet and Stability.

Events

On July 8-11, the 1inch team participated in EthCC7 in Brussels. Our co-founder Sergej Kunz did a keynote speech on intents and sat on a panel on restaking. You can check out some highlights from Sergej’s talk on these panels in the Shorts section of our YouTube channel. Meanwhile, our CBDO Samuel Yim joined EthCC’s panel Crypto's Transformation in the Wake of the Elections.

On July 12-14, 1inch sponsored the ETHGlobal hackathon, also held in Brussels, offering $10,000 in bounties for best builders. As part of the hackathon, 1inch co-founder Anton Bukov conducted a workshop on DeFi algorithms.

On July 26, Anton led a workshop on DeFi value flows at EDCON2024 in Tokyo.
