<p>The West African Examination Council (<a href="https://www.waecnigeria.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WAEC</a>) has officially released the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The West African Examinations Council is an examination body created to decide which exams are necessary for the public interest in the English-speaking nations of West Africa. It is also tasked with administering the exams and issuing certificates equivalent to those of examining authorities worldwide. </p> 
<p>The announcement was made on Monday, August 12, 2024,&nbsp; on X marking the conclusion of this year’s assessment process for school candidates.</p> 
<p>This release follows the completion of the grading process, which saw thousands of students across West Africa evaluated in various subjects. WAEC has assured that all necessary measures were taken to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the results.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>To check your WAEC results, there are three different ways to go about it: from the website, using SMS or the serial number. This simple guide provides the process step-by-step.</p> 
<p><strong><em>Note: To access your result, you need the result checker pin and serial number on the identity card that was used during the examination.</em></strong></p>

 <li>Input your 10-digit Examination Number. This comprises the 7-digit centre number assigned to you at the beginning of the WAEC examination as well as your 3-digit candidate number. For instance- 4123456789</li> 
 <li>Input the 4 digits of your Examination Year </li> 
 <li>Select the Type of Examination</li> 
 <li>Input the e-PIN Voucher Number</li> 
 <li>Input the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN</li> 
 <li>Click Submit and wait for the results to come up shortly </li>

<p>Candidates who wish to check their WAEC results via SMS need to purchase a WAECDirect scratch card from the official website. Also, keep in mind that only MTN, Glo, and Airtel users can check their results through the SMS method.</p>

 <li>Make sure you have nothing less than ₦30 call credit on your mobile device </li> 
 <li>Send&nbsp;<strong>WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear</strong> to <strong>32327</strong></li> 
 <li>In some minutes, the result will pop up on your mobile device as an SMS message which will cost ₦30</li>
