Yuki Gambaryan has made an urgent plea to the Nigerian government. She fears the worsening of Tigran’s herniated disc could cause permanent damage, affecting his ability to walk and leading to irreversible consequences.

U.S. Congressman Rich McCormick has responded to Gambaryan’s plight by proposing legislation to treat his detainment as a hostage situation. This international pressure highlights the perceived unlawfulness of his detention. 
The Gambaryan family, along with global supporters, continues to push for his immediate release or access to essential medical care. The situation remains a focal point of international human rights advocacy.
