<p>In line with our recent <a href="https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/german-state-owned-bank-embraces-bitcoin-and-crypto-kfw-to-issue-blockchain-based-digital-bond/">update</a> on the German State-Owned Bank embracing Bitcoin and crypto: KfW is set to issue a blockchain-based digital bond. According to<a href="https://www.bsdigital.com/media/0pzi0hiv/bsd_kfw_en.pdf"> Boerse Stuttgart Digital</a>, the company is collaborating with KfW. The upcoming bond offering will be integrated into the European Central Bank’s trials aimed at facilitating blockchain-based transactions with central bank money.</p> 
<p>Gaetano Panno, Head of Transaction Management at KfW, highlighted:</p>

<h2 id="strong-a-milestone-in-blockchain-adoption-by-financial-institutions-strong"><strong>A Milestone in Blockchain Adoption by Financial Institutions</strong></h2> 
<p>The collaboration between KfW, Germany’s largest development bank, and Boerse Stuttgart Digital (BSD) to advance its blockchain-based bond issuance, set to roll out in the coming weeks under the German Electronic Securities Act (eWpG), will see BSD manage the crypto wallets and <a href="https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/breaking-bitcoin-news-413000000000-german-dz-bank-to-launch-btc-and-xrp-trading-for-customers-in-newest-adoption-move/">safeguard</a> private keys during issuance and redemption.</p> 
<h2 id="strong-can-the-collaboration-fuel-a-matic-rally-strong"><strong>Can the Collaboration Fuel a MATIC Rally?</strong></h2> 
<p><a href="https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/germanys-state-owned-kfw-to-issue-tokenized-bond-will-they-use-chainlink-link-technology/">KfW’s forthcoming</a> digital bond follows its inaugural tokenized security offering—a 100 million euro ($108 million) bond issued in July using the Polygon (MATIC) network. In a related development, Italy’s Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SpA and Intesa Sanpaolo completed a blockchain-based bond issuance last month as part of an ECB trial.</p> 
<p>According to CoinMarketCap, Polygon (MATIC) is trading at <strong>$0.4198,</strong> having surged by <span style="color: #008000;"><strong>2.77%</strong></span> in the past day and <span style="color: #008000;"><strong>3.64%</strong> </span>in the past week. See the MATIC Price Chart below.</p>
