ZetaChain, the first universal blockchain, has announced Animoca Brands as its newest validator. This partnership promises to accelerate the vision of seamless multi-chain connectivity and broader adoption of digital assets. 
Animoca Brands, renowned for its role in advancing digital property rights within gaming and the open metaverse, brings a wealth of expertise to ZetaChain. This collaboration will enhance the security and functionality of ZetaChain’s Omnichain Smart Contracts through its proprietary ZRC-20 token standard.&nbsp;

ZetaChain, currently ranked among the top ten blockchains by active users, recently unveiled its 2.0 upgrade and the Universal EVM, a cutting-edge framework for chain abstraction.&nbsp; 
This upgrade simplifies multi-chain interoperability, enabling developers to build applications that work seamlessly across various chains from a single platform. 
The Universak EVM facilitates Universal Apps and Universal Proof of Stake, making it easier for developers to deploy applications that interact with external chains.&nbsp; 
Ankur Nandwani, Core Contributor at ZetaChain, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that Animoca Brands’ vast Web3 portfolio, including over 540 companies, now has the chance to leverage ZetaChain’s innovative technology.&nbsp; 
Additionally, ZetaChain is offering Animoca Brands’ portfolio companies access to its extensive ecosystem, including over 3.5 million unique wallets and its Ecosystem Growth Program. This program, which allocates 5% of the total ZETA token supply, supports the development of Universal Apps through grants, incentives, and community initiatives, with a focus on boosting Bitcoin’s usage and adoption.
