A pioneer in asset tokenization, Backed today announced a ground-breaking collaboration with Latin America’s eNor Securities, a regulated&nbsp;investment exchange and marketplace for tokenized assets. With this partnership, a significant milestone will be reached as retail investors in the rapidly expanding LATAM market will have access to Backed’s tokenized securities, also known as Real World Assets (RWAs), via a regulated investment exchange.
For Latin American investors looking to acquire assets via safe and transparent security token offerings, this cooperation opens up new possibilities. For an underserved market, Backed’s tokenization expertise together with the trading platform of eNor Securities means a simplified and effective investing experience.
The ownership of financial products&nbsp;on the chain that are 1:1 backed by the underlying asset is represented by Backed’s tokenized RWAs, or bTokens. The primary&nbsp;claim to the value of the underlying asset is therefore held by the holder of a bToken. Products from Backed are issued&nbsp;in accordance with EU prospectus regulations, giving investors more transparency.
Tokenized Coinbase stock (bCOIN), the SP500 ETF (bCSPX), and a number of corporate and government bond ETFs are among the products that are being listed. Investors may create well-rounded portfolios with exposure to a variety of asset types thanks to this diversification.
