Marathon Digital, one of the largest Bitcoin mining companies in the United States, announced a new initiative to highlight the importance of the U.S. in the global Bitcoin mining landscape. The company has begun marking each block it mines on the Bitcoin blockchain with the inscription "Made in USA." This move aligns with a statement made by Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, who emphasized the need for the U.S. to mine all remaining Bitcoins domestically, according to <a href="https://happycoin.club/majner-marathon-digital-pomechaet-dobytye-btc-nadpisyu-made-in-usa/">Happycoin</a>.

Marathon's CEO, Fred Thiel, expressed pride in this initiative, noting that Marathon is the only major mining company capable of doing so because it operates its own pool and guarantees that all mined blocks are produced within the United States. This initiative underscores Marathon's commitment to reinforcing the U.S.'s position in the global Bitcoin mining industry. 
In addition to this symbolic move, Marathon Digital Holdings recently announced plans to bolster its Bitcoin reserves by raising over $250 million through the sale of bonds. The majority of the funds raised will be used to acquire more Bitcoin, following a strategy similar to that of MicroStrategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin. This approach further solidifies Marathon's long-term commitment to Bitcoin and its belief in the strategic value of holding and acquiring the cryptocurrency.
