In a recent <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/asia" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bloomberg</a> News roundtable at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Wednesday, Kamala Harris, the Vice President of America showed a green flag for crypto. She is said to back measures to help grow the crypto community.
Brian Nelson, Senior campaign advisor for policy to the campaign stated:

 “She’s going to support policies that ensure that emerging technologies and that sort of industry can continue to grow.”

He said this during the news roundtable when asked about the vice president’s efforts to engage the crypto community.
Former president <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/trump-based-memecoins-stumble-as-harris-leads-in-new-poll/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Trump</a> has huge supporters for his crypto backing. “Trump 47” joint fundraising committee has raised more than 4 million dollars in Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. He also <a href="https://www.citizensforethics.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Candidate-Report-Donald-J.-Trump-2024-Part-6.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">disclosed</a> that he owns $5 million in crypto and has earned over $7 million from his <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/trumps-bitcoin-nft-sneakers-sold-out-boosting-crypto-campaign-support/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">NFTs</a>.
Now that Kamala Harris has courted the company of the crypto community, this seems to appease this particular group with a large number of supporters. People wonder whether this decision is honest or if she is using the crypto word just to gain more voters to win this election. The community is executing different opinions on this news.&nbsp;

The billionaire and multi-investor Elon Musk recently made a <a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1826015426658415033" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">poll</a> on X, asking “Who will you vote for?.” This was a poll to know people’s decisions for electing the next president of America. The two candidates on the list were Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
This tweet garnered more than 5.8 million votes, with Trump taking a significant lead. The margin between the two candidates was substantial, as Trump secured 73.2% of the votes, 47% more than Kamala. The latter received 26.8% of the votes from the X community.
