<p>Republican candidate Donald Trump is said to be the beneficiary, based on the recent ‘unscientific poll’ instituted by American entrepreneur Elon Musk in X. Participation in this poll garnered over 5.8 million users of the company's service. 73.2% of the voters chose <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/trump-takes-7-lead-over-harris-as-bitcoin-spikes-4-on-rfk-exit-rumors/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Donald Trump </a>over his Democratic counterpart, Kamala Harris, who managed only 26.8% of the votes.</p>

<p>Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk discussed the poll results in a recent post on X. He noted the strong support for Trump, which differs from the national polling trends, where Harris is observed to have a slim lead. Nevertheless, Musk’s poll has its demerits too.</p>

Nevertheless, the poll attracted much attention, mainly from the audience of people interested in cryptocurrencies, which has proved its feasibility.</p>

<p>This poll has been criticized for being nonscientific and only including Musk’s followers, who will likely support the idea. It is claimed that the presented data may not reflect the public’s opinion, as many participants are representatives of the crypto industry who will support Trump's positive approach to cryptocurrency.</p>  
<p>This is because the poll is said to be influenced massively by the crypto community. On the other hand, Kamala Harris has drawn much criticism from the crypto world regarding her approach to crypto policies.</p>  
<p>Other critics of Harris’s framework include industry insiders such as Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, who has openly expressed his lack of confidence in Harris’s work and has gone as far as to call for the resignation of Gary Gensler of the SEC.</p>

<p>Since the political process continues to intensify, factors such as the perceptions of general citizens, particularly those on the technology side, and voters will determine the results in the coming election.</p>
