During Gamescom 2024, Microsoft announced the launch of its new Xbox Adaptive Joystick which has been designed to enable those with limited mobility to take a fuller part in video games. The joystick was displayed at Gamescom 2024 when this announcement was made, and it is considered a landmark in accessible gaming technology.
Xbox-Adaptive-Joystick, set to be launched early next year, is the Xbox controller’s standard version in a simplified form. It includes four regular buttons alongside two additional buttons for bumper and trigger commands. However, the most remarkable feature of all may be its customizable thumbstick which can be made to suit the specific needs of any gamer.
