OpenAI’s ChatGPT has hit over 200 million weekly active users, doubling its user base within a year of its launch in November 2022. This rapid growth has made ChatGPT one of the most popular applications ever. 
The AI chatbot is widely used in industries, especially in healthcare and education. According to <a href="https://www.axios.com/2024/08/29/openai-chatgpt-200-million-weekly-active-users" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">OpenAI’s CEO</a>, Sam Altman, AI technology is helping people with everyday tasks, solving complex problems, and boosting creativity. 
Recently, OpenAI introduced a new <a href="https://www.cryptotimes.io/2024/07/26/openais-searchgpt-challenges-googles-search-dominance/" target="_blank" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.cryptotimes.io/2024/07/26/openais-searchgpt-challenges-googles-search-dominance/" rel="noreferrer noopener">search engine prototype called SearchGPT</a>. This tool, currently in limited testing, allows users to conduct conversational searches, offering a new way to find information online. However, OpenAI plans to integrate the best features of SearchGPT into ChatGPT, directly challenging established search engines like Google. 
Moreover, <a href="https://www.cryptotimes.io/2024/08/29/openai-seeks-100-billion-valuation-with-new-funding/" target="_blank" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.cryptotimes.io/2024/08/29/openai-seeks-100-billion-valuation-with-new-funding/" rel="noreferrer noopener">OpenAI is also seeking additional funding</a> to support its expansion. According to previous reports, the funding could value the company at over $100 billion.&nbsp; 
Additionally, OpenAI has partnered with the U.S. government to enhance AI research, reflecting the increasing emphasis on the responsible development and regulation of AI.
