In the past few years, bad actors, scammers, and fraudsters have bothered the crypto market on its verge. Over 1000+ users and investors have lost over a billion digital assets in the past few quarters.&nbsp;
A recentForbes article noted that Tether, Tron, and TRM Labs joined hands to tackle the surging illicit activities tied to USDT and Tron blockchain. USDT is the cryptocurrency that is traded the most in the cryptocurrency market.&nbsp; 
Following the alliance, Justin Sun, the founder of Tron Network, said, “ Our goal is to create a safer, more secure crypto community, setting a new standard for the industry.”&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
The T3 Financial Crime Unit (T3 FCU) seeks to disrupt those activities by leveraging data, technology, and deep cooperation with law enforcement. Market experts claim that the global surging demand for USDT has made it the leader in intraday trading volume.&nbsp;
Esteban Castaño, the chief executive officer of TRM Labs, said, “ We were the first blockchain intelligence company to start mapping illicit activity on Tron—we’ve been partnering on that front since 2019, but this initiative takes that even further.”&nbsp;
He further added, “Tron is also making a significant investment in tracking illicit activity, so we are expanding both investigative and threat intel capabilities.”&nbsp;
Tether’s CEO Paolo Ardoino said, “ Freezing assets on a blockchain takes minutes. Imagine someone stealing money from a bank, transferring it across jurisdictions, and the legal delays that follow it takes ages.”
He further notes, “ The T3 group is an example of three parties—a blockchain analytics firm, the blockchain developer itself, and the stablecoin issuer —putting together their forces to create a consortium that will focus on blockchain safety and reduce the latency between we the moment we receive the first part of the information to when we can execute the action. Good luck finding something like this in the traditional international financial system.”&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Crypto Market Price Overview 
According to CoinMarketCap’s data, <a href="https://news.todayq.com/secs-crypto-crackdown-reaches-4-68-billion-in-2024-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Tether </a>(USDT) has a market capitalization of $118.38 billion, making it the 3rd most prominent market cap. At press time, the trading volume of USDT was $52.37 billion, and its maximum supply was infinite.&nbsp;
USDT’s highest trading price is $1.22; however, its lowest trading price was $0.5683, as registered on March 02, 2015. USDC/USDT is the most traded pair of Tether, obeyed by BTC/USDT, USDT/USD, DAI/USD, and USDT/TON.&nbsp;
When writing, the cryptocurrency market capitalization was $2.01 Trillion with an intraday boost of 3.01%. In the past 72 hours, a minute u-turn and improvement in the entire cap have been observed.&nbsp;
