Gox during its historic collapse, wants to ensure that his latest endeavor stays away from previous mistakes to win back the trust of cryptocurrency users. Karpeles is establishing a new benchmark with EllipX, providing fully audited reserves along with real-time data access.</p>

<p>Notably, Karpeles stressed in an interview conducted on the X platform that EllipX will be fully transparent. All financial data will be available to users instantly. This includes the reserves held by the exchange, which are going to be publicly audited.&nbsp;</p>  
<p>In addition, since users can independently verify the data, Karpeles claims that this degree of transparency eliminates the need for users to have faith in the people running the exchange. He said that he had learned important lessons from his past experiences, and that he was using these lessons to make sure the platform was secure.</p>

<p>Mt. Gox, once the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, failed after 950,000 BTC was lost as a result of hacking occurrences. Karpeles was in charge during this crisis, which resulted in his conviction and a Japanese prison term of one year.
