<h4><strong>The organization plans to airdrop up to $1 million in BNB (Binance’s digital currency) to Binance users who live in the hardest-hit areas. </strong></h4>
<p>This <a href="https://www.altcoinbuzz.io/?s=airdrop" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">airdrop</a> is part of Binance’s ongoing efforts to support communities in need during times of crisis.</p>
<h5><strong>Binance to Distribute $1M in BNB to Help Typhoon Yagi Victims</strong></h5>
<p>The airdrop will focus on users who live in one of the 25 cities in Northern Vietnam that were most impacted by the typhoon. To determine who will receive the donations, <a href="https://www.binance.charity/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance Charity</a> is using proof-of-address (POA) information. If a user has completed their POA by September 10th, 2024, they will receive $50 worth of BNB directly in their Binance account.</p>
<p>For those who didn’t complete their POA by that date but live in the affected area and registered with Binance before September 10, 2024, there’s still some good news. These users will get $20 worth of BNB if they complete their POA by September 30, 2024. It’s Binance’s way of making sure help reaches as many people as possible.</p>

<p>The first batch of donations will begin arriving in user accounts on September 16th, 2024. Binance CEO Richard Teng said: “We hope our efforts bring some relief to those affected. We stand in solidarity with the community as they recover.”</p>

<p>This isn’t the first time Binance Charity has lent a helping hand in Vietnam. In the past, they’ve supported the region by providing saltwater filtration systems and medical supplies. The organization has a history of stepping in when the going gets tough, and this latest effort is no different.</p>
