<h4><strong>On September 15th, Circle <a href="https://www.circle.com/en/pressroom/circle-and-sony-block-solutions-labs-to-enable-usdc-on-soneium" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> its partnership with Sony. </strong></h4> 
<p>The goal is to make USDC a go-to choice for creators and developers using Sony’s layer-2 blockchain, Soneium.</p> 
<h5><strong>Expanding USDC on Sony’s Soneium Blockchain</strong></h5> 
<p><a href="https://soneium.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sony’s Soneium blockchain</a> was launched in August 2024 and is built on top of Ethereum.&nbsp; Now, with Circle’s USDC, developers can use this digital dollar to make transactions and payments easier.</p> 
<p>Circle’s Bridged USDC Standard is a system that allows USDC to work smoothly on different blockchains. In this case, it helps connect the stablecoin from Ethereum to Soneium, allowing people to use USDC across both platforms.</p>
