This model boasts web3 capabilities, offering enhancements over its predecessor; it is lighter, brighter, has a superior camera, and a longer-lasting battery—all at a more wallet-friendly price than the Saga, as noted on Solana Mobile’s social media account on X. 
Shipments for this innovative smartphone are scheduled to begin in 2025, as per the official Solana Mobile website. The Solana Seeker is equipped with a Solflare wallet, the first native wallet of Solana, and features a specialized hardware seed vault for secure storage of seed phrases designed specifically for this model.

Like contemporary smartphones, it includes a fingerprint sensor that allows users to unlock the device and sign cryptocurrency transactions. To incentivize early adopters and pre-order customers, Solana Seeker comes with a unique non-transferable native token: 
“Each Solana Seeker generates its own unique Seeker Genesis Token. It unlocks rewards, upgrades, exclusive access, and content throughout the Solana ecosystem,” the Solana Mobile website explains. 
Given its design for web3 interaction, the Solana Seeker is compatible with <a href="https://www.ethnews.com/why-solanas-latest-user-growth-could-be-your-next-big-investment-opportunity/">Solana’s ecosystem</a> of decentralized apps (dApps). 
For instance, it works with decentralized exchanges such as Raydium and Jupiter; domain name services like Solana Name Service, similar to Ethereum Name Services (ENS); games including Star Atlas and Aurory; and wallets like Phantom. 
<h2 id="b-technical-specifications-of-solana-seeker-b">Technical Specifications of Solana Seeker</h2> 
The Solana Seeker is equipped with GB of RAM, positioning it in the mid-to-high range for processing power. This is in contrast to its predecessor, the Solana Saga, which has 12 GB of RAM. Additionally, the Seeker offers 128 GB of internal storage, compared to the 512 GB available in the Saga. 
The device features a 6.36″ AMOLED screen, slightly smaller than the Saga’s 6.67″ screen. AMOLED technology allows pixels to turn off completely, enhancing the viewing of dark colors and conserving battery life. 
The camera system in the Seeker includes 108+32 megapixel sensors, offering higher resolution than the Saga’s 50 MP + 12 MP cameras. 
<h3 id="b-pricing-and-pre-order-details-b">Pricing and Pre-order Details</h3> 
Currently, the Solana Seeker is available for a limited-time price of USD 450 during the “founder’s window,” the initial phase of the pre-sale. The price will increase to USD 500 during the subsequent “early adopter” phase. These prices are significantly lower than the Saga’s launch price of USD 1,000. The final pre-sale window’s price and date have not been announced yet. 
Individuals are limited to purchasing one unit per person, or up to five per household. Following the announcement of this second smartphone by Solana Mobile, $SOL&nbsp; experienced an 11% increase in price. To date, over 140,000 units have been pre-ordered, highlighting the <a href="https://www.ethnews.com/why-solana-sol-could-outshine-bitcoin-and-ethereum-in-the-next-market-rally/">strong market</a> anticipation for this device.

The current price of Solana (SOL) is $148.79, reflecting a 6.76% increase over the last 24 hours. The circulating supply is approximately 468.37 million SOL, with a 24-hour trading volume of about $2.79 billion .
