<p>Shytoshi Kusama, the original developer of Shiba Inu, announced that important changes are coming to the SHIB ecosystem next week. He made these comments during the Token 2049 conference in Singapore, and they quickly caught the ire of the coin's supporters. Kusama’s recent posts on X, formerly Twitter, hinted at the possible launch of a layer-3 network, which could impact the future of Shiba Inu.</p>

<p>Kusama's X biography now says "Preparing to Treat the generals," which led to doubts about a new layer-3 network. The company believes these tokens will play an important role in the platform's governance and utility. The new consortium could improve the Shiba Inu framework by offering more use cases for the digital token.</p>

<p>The coin introduced Shibarium last year, a layer-2 network aimed at speeding up wire transfers and lowering fees. Yet, its mainnet did not gain as much interest as expected. Therefore, the possible layer-3 network could solve these issues and give users more reasons to invest in the project.</p>

She urged the Shiba Inu community to learn more about using decentralized wallets. Lucie also emphasized the benefits of using Shibarium since it offers lower fees and faster transactions.</p>  
<p>Lucie used the recent WazirX hack as a warning about the risks of centralized exchanges. She stated that while DeFi offers a safer option, users still need to be careful of online scams such as social media bots and fake websites. Lucie suggested that users should take precautions while using DeFi to protect themselves from these threats.</p>
