 Taurus, the Swiss-regulated global leader in digital asset infrastructure for banks, has <a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://www.taurushq.com/blog/taurus-and-aktionariat-announce-partnership-to-enable-trading-of-tokenized-shares-with-realunit-as-a-first-issuer/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">announced</a> a partnership with Swiss equity token specialist Aktionariat AG.

Taurus will offer services for Ethereum-based tokenized shares issued by Aktionariat. In return, Aktionariat will allow its clients to list on the Taurus Digital Exchange (TDX).&nbsp;
This joint initiative is set to go live in November. It will enable tokenized small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to trade on TDX.
The partnership combines Aktionariat’s proficiency in tokenizing equity for Swiss companies with Taurus’ institutional-grade trading technology. The goal is to boost liquidity and create value for tokenized small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and their shareholders. The company stated that by offering access to TDX’s network, which includes banks, professional investors, and retail clients, the collaboration aims to expand opportunities for these tokenized firms significantly.
Murat Ögat, CEO of Aktionariat, emphasized the company’s mission to help businesses harness blockchain-based financing:

 “While we offer tools for selling and informal trading of security tokens, licensed marketplaces for these tokens are limited. Taurus’ digital marketplace bridges this gap, providing value to our clients and enhancing investor relations.”&nbsp;

Meanwhile, Taurus has been strengthening its crypto presence through strategic partnerships in a bid to achieve its mission of making private equity as accessible as buying a book online. One recent <a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://www.taurushq.com/blog/taurus-partners-with-qatar-financial-centre-to-lead-digital-asset-innovation-in-the-middle-east/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">collaboration</a> is with Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) as part of the QFC Digital Assets Lab to enhance digital asset solutions in the region. Taurus has also <a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://defi-planet.com/2024/03/misyon-bank-teams-up-with-taurus-to-introduce-virtual-asset-custody-and-tokenization-services-in-turkey/#google_vignette" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">partnered</a> with Turkish neobank Misyon, allowing MisyonTech to provide virtual asset custody and tokenization services using Taurus’ technologies, which include Taurus-PROTECT<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/15.0.3/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;"> for asset storage, Taurus-CAPITAL<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/15.0.3/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;"> for tokenized assets, and Taurus-EXPLORER<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/15.0.3/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;"> for blockchain infrastructure.
