<a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/binance-launches-new-token-platform-with-megadrop/" data-wpel-link="internal">Binance</a> has announced the listing of the <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/ondo-tokens-remarkable-growth-in-the-defi-space/" data-wpel-link="internal">altcoin</a> EigenLayer (EIGEN). The <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/justin-sun-transfers-156-million-in-bitcoin-to-binance/" data-wpel-link="internal">cryptocurrency</a> exchange will launch new spot trading pairs for EIGEN coin on October 1, 2024, at 08:00 UTC. Users can start depositing EIGEN coins to trade them as the listing will allow EIGEN to reach a wider audience through Binance. 
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-new-trading-pairs-and-additional-details-strong">New Trading Pairs and Additional Details</h2> 
As part of the listing, Binance will introduce four new trading pairs: EIGEN/BTC, EIGEN/USDT, EIGEN/FDUSD, and EIGEN/TRY. It is important to note that TRY is only a fiat currency and does not represent another cryptocurrency.

Moreover, no listing fee will be charged for trading EIGEN coin. The ERC-20 based smart contract address has been shared with users as 0xec53bF9167f50cDEB3Ae105f56099aaaB9061F83. 
Deposits for EIGEN coin can be made immediately, while withdrawal operations will become active on October 2, 2024, at 08:00 UTC. This timing is indicative, and users can check the withdrawal status on Binance’s withdrawal page. Additionally, trading bots and spot copy trading features will be activated within 24 hours after the altcoin’s listing. 
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-what-is-eigenlayer-strong">What is EigenLayer?</h2> 
EigenLayer is a protocol built on the Ethereum blockchain that introduces the principle of “restaking” for crypto-economic security. This system allows ETH to be reused on the consensus layer, making the security layer more efficient while enabling users to redeploy ETH coins in various operations. 
With this listing, Binance aims to provide users with more investment and trading options, particularly significant for Turkish investors due to the new trading pairs allowing transactions in TRY.
