<h4><strong>Bitget Wallet, on Friday, September 27th, announced a new tool called OmniConnect. </strong></h4>

<h5><strong>Bitget’s OmniConnect Expands Telegram Apps to Crypto Networks</strong></h5> 
<p>The wallet service provider explained that OmniConnect will allow Mini Apps to connect to crypto networks, like TON, Solana, and Ethereum’s EVM. Before Bitget’s new tool, Telegram Mini Apps could only work with TON. However, Bitget <a href="https://x.com/BitgetWallet/status/1839625516934180956" target="_blank" rel="noopener">believes</a> OmniConnect could help make Telegram a gateway to Web3.</p> 
<p>A Bitget executive, Alvin Kan, explained that with this integration, Mini Apps can now use Bitget Wallet to make transactions across different blockchains. Kan added that developers will help make Telegram a more open Web3 platform, as it would enable them to connect their apps to over 500 chains.</p>

<h5><strong>Bitget continues to push to expand Web3 Adoption</strong></h5> 
<p>The integration closely aligns with Bitget’s goal of bringing a billion users to Web3 from social platforms. Bitget Wallet is a familiar name within Telegram, having partnered with Telegram projects Tomarket, Catizen, and Yescoin.</p> 
<p>In addition, Bitget was the first wallet provider to extend an MPC keyless wallet to the TON mainnet, establish trading bots for Telegram, and offer zero gas fees to Ton Dapps. These multiple integrations have made Bitget a huge infrastructure for Telegram.</p>

<p>Furthermore, this exchange became the <a href="https://www.altcoinbuzz.io/cryptocurrency-news/bitget-wallet-surpasses-metamask-in-downloads-in-july/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">most downloaded crypto wallet in August</a>, after recording over 2 million downloads. This is based on data from the App Store and Google Play. The wallet provider currently has over 30 million users. Interestingly, Bitget has seen a 1000% increase in wallet downloads in 2024.</p>
