Before the acquisition, Crypto Finance was part of the Deutsche Börse Group-owned Crypto Finance Group. The firm is known for managing the first crypto fund approved by Switzerland’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).&nbsp;
This regulatory endorsement makes the acquisition especially strategic for Matrixport, which aims to strengthen its offerings in compliant crypto asset management.
