Chainlink Labs has formed a strategic partnership with ANZ, a premier Australian bank managing over A$1 trillion in assets, under the auspices of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Project Guardian. 
This collaboration marks ANZ as the first Australian bank to participate in this pioneering initiative, aiming to expand access to tokenized real-world assets (<a href="https://www.ethnews.com/chainlink-and-arta-techfin-advance-blockchain-tokenization-of-real-world-assets/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">RWAs</a>) within financial markets.

The partnership will leverage <a href="https://www.ethnews.com/chainlink-ccip-goes-live-on-celo-a-leap-in-blockchain-security-and-efficiency/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Chainlink’s Cross-Chain</a> Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to facilitate secure exchanges of tokenized RWAs. This innovative approach underscores a significant advancement in the use of blockchain technology for practical and secure financial operations.
ANZ will work alongside <a href="https://www.ethnews.com/chainlinks-positive-funding-rate-signals-investor-confidence-amid-market-stability/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Chainlink Labs</a> and the digital securities platform ADDX to explore the interoperability among private blockchains, enabling the seamless exchange of such assets as commercial paper. 
Mark Evans, ANZ’s Singapore Country Head, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative. He noted the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s longstanding commitment to digitizing the financial landscape through collaborative industry efforts.

Evans highlighted ANZ’s prolonged presence in Singapore, spanning 50 years, during which the bank has thrived within the nation’s innovation-driven regulatory framework. This project aligns with ANZ’s strategic goals to spearhead developments in a stable and secure digital asset ecosystem, which is vital for addressing the evolving demands of their regional customer base.
Project Guardian has been instrumental since 2022, fostering a cooperative environment between policymakers and financial industry leaders. The project’s primary goal is to enhance the liquidity and efficiency of financial markets through the tokenization of assets.&nbsp;
According to Nigel Dobson, ANZ’s Banking Services Lead, the market for tokenized assets is currently fragmented, with developments occurring on various blockchains that lack native interoperability.
Nigel Dobson, said:

Dobson emphasized ANZ’s commitment to demonstrating the potential of its Digital Assets capabilities, including its A$DC, to facilitate the regional movement of goods and capital. This initiative reflects ANZ’s broader strategy to integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance financial services and meet customer needs more effectively.

Over the past 24 hours, the trading volume has been around $267.79 million. The price has fluctuated between $11.86 and $12.48 in recent trading. Its market cap is valued at approximately $7.455 billion.
