According to the latest data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/major-bitcoin-mining-pool-foundry-usa-to-introduce-fee-structure/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">US</a> dollar's share of global currency reserves has declined to 58%, the lowest level in the past 25 years. This indicates significant changes in the global economy and a redistribution of currency influence.
Experts note that countries are actively diversifying their reserves by increasing holdings of the euro, yuan, and other currencies. Specifically, the Chinese yuan's share has risen to 2.5%, while the euro maintains 20% of global reserves.
The reasons for this shift include geopolitical tensions, trade wars, and nations' desire to reduce dependence on the dollar. Analysts predict a further decline in the dollar's share in global reserves in the coming years.
