According to blockchain tracker Whale Alert, Ripple released 1 billion XRP on October 1 by moving it from its escrow wallet. The American blockchain payment company executed this significant release through three transactions: 500 million, 400 million, and 100 million XRP. The total value of the unlocked assets was recorded at $621.76 million.
