<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/marathon-digital-to-boost-energy-efficiency-with-s19-xp-miners/">Marathon</a> Digital Holdings, one of the largest <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/russias-bitcoin-gold-rush-mining-machine-influx-outpaces-rest-of-the-world/">Bitcoin miners</a> in the U.S., reported that its <a href="https://ultramining.com/en/ratings/">mining pool</a>, MARA Pool, achieved a market share of 4.9% in September 2024. The <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/terawulf-soars-to-record-revenue-with-330-btc-mined-in-july-2023/">company mined</a> 667 BTC, marking a record monthly performance. 
In September, MARA Pool processed 210 blocks, leading to an increase in total <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-miners-set-for-a-tough-ride-as-2024-halving-nears-jp-morgan/">hash rate</a> to 32.7 EH/s. This is the first time a single mining pool has surpassed the 30 EH/s mark in a month. The achievement highlights the company's significant growth in capacity despite challenging market conditions. 
With an installed hash rate of 35.2 EH/s as of August 30, MARA's operational uptime reached 92%. This is the highest level since January 2024, indicating improved operational efficiency following infrastructure issues earlier in the year.
