<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitfarms-set-to-boost-mining-capacity-with-quebec-expansion/">Bitfarms</a> has signed an agreement with <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/stronghold-digital-mining-hits-3-0-eh-s-hash-rate-milestone/">Stronghold</a> Digital Mining to deploy 10,000 <a href="https://ultramining.com/en/manufacturers/bitmain/">Bitmain</a> T21 miners at their Panther Creek facility. This will increase Bitfarms' operational capacity by ~2.2 EH/s in the coming weeks. 
Originally, these miners were planned for installation in <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitfarms-expands-bitcoin-mining-with-renewable-energy-in-paraguay/">Paraguay</a>, but the new agreement accelerates their deployment. CEO Ben Gagnon emphasized that this strategic move will speed up the company's <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-miners-set-for-a-tough-ride-as-2024-halving-nears-jp-morgan/">hash rate</a> growth and enhance its competitiveness. 
Collaboration with Stronghold is expected to help Bitfarms achieve its target of increasing capacity to 21 EH/s by the end of the year.
