The&nbsp;<a style="text-decoration:none" href="https://bsc.news/post/what-is-telegram-s-new-popular-crypto-game-hamster-kombat">Hamster Kombat</a> team&nbsp;<a style="text-decoration:none" href="https://x.com/hamster_kombat/status/1837949250669322416">revealed</a> the much-anticipated details of its Season 1 airdrop, revealing that 60 billion tokens will be distributed to eligible users on September 26.&nbsp;
However, with over 300 million registered users, only 131 million are eligible to participate, meaning just 43% will receive their share of the airdrop.&nbsp;

Hamster Kombat announced that of its total supply of 100 billion Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) tokens, 75 billion are designated for community members.&nbsp;

A significant portion—60%—will be airdropped after Season 1, while 15% will be allocated for the upcoming Season 2.&nbsp;

Eligible users will be able to claim 88.75% of their token allocation immediately, with the remaining 11.25% locked for ten months after the token's listing on exchanges. This means that approximately 53.25 billion tokens will be distributed right away, while 6.75 billion will be available in July 2025.&nbsp;

The Hamster Kombat team took decisive action against cheating, banning 2.3 million users who attempted to exploit the system. Following a platform snapshot on September 20, these users were automatically disqualified from the airdrop.&nbsp;

The announcement about the bans and subsequent disqualifications sparked dissatisfaction among the community, particularly among players who felt they had been unfairly treated.

Before the airdrop announcement, players believed that accumulating Points Per Hour (PPH) was the primary criterion for eligibility.&nbsp;

However, the late introduction of an anti-cheat system, which evaluated players based on key collection instead, caught many off guard. Due to this, some players found themselves ineligible while others, who may have manipulated the system, remained eligible, according to reports.

While the immediate focus is on the upcoming airdrop, Hamster Kombat's broader strategy involves continual engagement with its player base.&nbsp;

The team recently introduced a new reward program for users who choose to receive their airdrop via the Telegram wallet. This initiative offers up to 300% annual percentage yield (APY) on assets, according to a Sept. 19 announcement by Hamster Kombat.

The game has also initiated a simplified "interlude season" to maintain player interest until the full launch of Season 2.
