<p>$HIPPO’s rise to fame can be attributed to its unique story of survival and reinvention. Initially, the project appeared to be abandoned when the original developer left.</p> 
<p>However, the community rallied together and took over the project. Now, $HIPPO is described as the “cutest” memecoin on Sui, powered by a dedicated community with full CTO oversight. The project emphasizes its grassroots nature, stating that it is “driven by the people, for the people.”</p>

<p>$HIPPO currently boasts a market capitalization of $137 million, showing significant market support despite its origin as a lighthearted memecoin. The project’s mascot seems to be inspired by the viral MOODENG meme, which has circulated widely online over the past two weeks.</p>
