<p>Mark Cuban recently pointed out that Dogecoin allows people to buy nearly anything. Elon Musk hinted at accepting Dogecoin for Tesla merchandise again.&nbsp;</p>  
<p><a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/dogecoins-bullish-momentum-builds-but-can-it-break-0-11/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Dogecoin (DOGE)</a> transactions stand out because of speed and low fees. Currently, average transaction costs hover around 0.07 DOGE, or less than a penny. In comparison, Bitcoin fees can reach up to 79 cents.&nbsp;</p>  
<p>Aaron McCann, co-founder of Williamsburg Pizza, stated that Dogecoin is the only proof-of-work cryptocurrency with transaction times fast enough and fees low enough to be practical for merchants.&nbsp;</p>  
<p>Determined to increase Dogecoin’s usage, McCann created <a href="https://www.dogeexpress.io/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DogeExpress</a>, a payment processor specifically for Dogecoin. After years of searching for a way to accept cryptocurrency at his restaurant, McCann launched DogeExpress two months ago.</p>  
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-fast-transactions-across-borders">Fast Transactions Across Borders</h2>  
<p>An unexpected use for Dogecoin is in remittances. Traditional cash transfers can incur fees as high as 7%. Dogecoin transactions usually complete within one minute, making them much faster than Bitcoin, which can take up to an hour.&nbsp;</p>  
<p>The quirky origins of Dogecoin add to its charm. This memecoin, often represented by a <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shiba-inu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Shiba Inu</a>, dominates social media and financial discussions. Originally created in 2013 as a parody, Dogecoin gained endorsements from celebrities like Snoop Dogg and Lil Yachty.&nbsp;</p>  
<p>Cuban's Dallas Mavericks started accepting Dogecoin for tickets and merchandise in 2021, although adoption remains modest. Cuban estimates the team has processed around 25,000 DOGE transactions.</p>  
<p>Dogecoin’s transformation from a joke to a serious financial instrument illustrates the unpredictable nature of the cryptocurrency landscape. With continued support from influential figures, potential seems limitless.</p>
