In a surprising turn of events, the Lego Group‘s official website displayed a fraudulent “Lego Coin” token for about 75 minutes on October 6. Following a hack on October 5, this scam token appeared on their homepage, alarming visitors. In a statement to Engadget, Lego confirmed that no customer accounts were compromised and that the issue was resolved quickly. Lego reassured customers that the situation had been addressed and measures were taken to prevent future occurrences.
