The 2024 edition of TOKEN2049 attracted over 20,000 attendees and hosted 500 side events, making it the biggest Web3 gathering of the year.</p><p>Our interactive booth, Zeebu Stage, and insightful panel sessions provided the perfect opportunity to connect with industry insiders, entrepreneurs, and investors from around the globe.</p><p>Our CEO, Raj Brahmbhatt participated in a highly significant panel titled “The Mainstream Mission — Bringing Crypto to the Masses” alongside Web3 giants like Michael Shaulov and Mike Silagadze. The event brought together Tier 1, 2, and 3 carriers, mobile/wireless operators, ISPs, VoIP providers, and technology partners from across the voice, SMS, data, satellite, sub-sea, and fixed-line markets. WWC served as the perfect platform to explore emerging trends, network with industry leaders, and discover cutting-edge innovations transforming the telecom landscape.</p><p>Zeebu made a return to WWC this year after leaving a strong impact at the previous event. Our booth in Hall Tapices Aranjuez showcased Zeebu’s groundbreaking telecom settlement solution, and our team held live demos, Q&amp;A sessions, and discussions on how telecom carriers can streamline their payments and settlements with our tailor-made blockchain-powered settlement solution and ZBU token.</p><h2 id="header-4">Zeebu Podcasts</h2><h3 id="zeebu-disrupts-the-telecom-industry-altcoin-daily">Zeebu Disrupts the Telecom Industry | Altcoin Daily</h3><p>We&#39;re super excited to inform you that we recently did a podcast with Altcoin Daily. Raj, our Founder and CEO, and Raghav, our Co-Founder and CMO, explained the journey of building Zeebu from scratch.</p><p>&#34;We had two choices when we began: focus on marketing first and then build, or build first, prove their capabilities, and follow up with a strong marketing push. They chose the latter approach&#34;, he added.</p><p>When we started Zeebu, we had two key demographics: telecoms, the initial focus, and the Web3 community, which is critical for scaling the other side of the business. He explained that for our Proof of Concept (POC), we focused on business development and aimed to onboard 64 institutional clients and achieve $1.8 billion in transaction volume within a year.</p><p>The best thing was that Zeebu&#39;s mission to help telecom carriers settle across borders seamlessly was finally seeing the light of day.</p><p>&#34;By July, marking one year since the project&#39;s inception, they had exceeded expectations, reaching $3.2 billion in transaction volume with 109 fully signed-up institutional clients and an additional 550 on the waitlist,&#34; he further added.</p><p>Tune into the full interview <a href="https://youtu.be/ff3g_XJz5FE?si&#61;fazBwrbGeffoytvf" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">here</a>.</p><h3 id="zeebu-airdrop-ama-dive-into-the-future-of-defi-settlements">Zeebu Airdrop AMA: Dive Into the Future of DeFi &amp; Settlements</h3><p>We concluded another successful AMA session, delving into the exciting details of our ZBU largest airdrop and the ZBU protocol.</p><p>Keshav Pandya, Co-Founder and COO of Zeebu, shared valuable insights into his journey of building the platform and the strategic decision behind launching the airdrop at a time when Zeebu&#39;s settlement numbers and clientele are thriving.</p><p>He also explained in detail the role of the ZBU protocol in the airdrop and its significance in our mission to become a truly decentralized protocol.</p><p>“The entire concept is designed to make Zeebu a truly decentralized protocol and set a gold standard in governance, settlement, and providing genuine control and accessibility to the community.</p><p>When you closely examine the telecom landscape, to process $14 billion in transaction volume, we need a minimum of 300 transactions per second (TPS) for settlement due to the nature of the business.</p><p>Telecom carrier companies constantly need to clear their invoices since it&#39;s a prepaid settlement system, much like how we top up our mobile phones in advance. These companies maintain their balances by prepaying each other.</p><p>Larger companies may have credit limits, but during sudden surges in demand, they must pay other carriers instantly. This is where the need for real-time payments arises, and to achieve instant settlement for all the companies on our waitlist, we require a minimum bandwidth of 300 TPS.</p><p>This is the reason we&#39;re inviting 300 node runners, called &#39;deployers,&#39; in our protocol, to participate in setting up our on-chain clearinghouse. These deployers will play a crucial role in the ZBU settlement process.&#34; he explained.</p><p>He further shed light on the utility of ZBU, highlighting how their settlement model streamlines global transactions.
