A new innovation in the world of crypto has been introduced after the new Ethereum Improvement proposal was introduced. The revolution brings block times down on Ethereum by 33%. It will also escalate data capacity leading to an increase of 50% of total output.&nbsp;
The proposalEIP-7781 was introduced by its co-founder Ben Adams, Illyriad Games on October 5, 2024, with an aim to cut down block times on the Ethereum network; currently 12 seconds and the implementation will go down to 8 seconds.&nbsp; 
The work functions of blobs and the response time of based roll-ups will also be skyrocketed.&nbsp; The first significant step 
In an X post dated October 6, a pseudonymous developer Cygaar wrote, that EIP-7781 is the first massive and significant step to improve the base layer of the Ethereum network. The majority of developers focus on the Ethereum L2 network as gauging solutions.&nbsp;
The continuous mounting of the actual blockchain output aside, the target will allocate the use of bandwidth over a period of time, by default, lowering the demands of peak bandwidth without infringing on the blob counts.&nbsp;
A researcher of the Ethereum Foundation, Justin Drake approved the EIP over GitHub, a developer platform, and noted that the instant proposal lined up with many broader perspectives is offered by the co-founder of Ethereum in association with Ethereum scaling organizations.&nbsp;
He further went on to say that cutting block times will make Uniswap v3 1.22x more effective and will save an estimated $100M in centralized exchanges (CEX) &amp; decentralized exchanges(DEX) trades every year which will result in better performance for users.&nbsp; Solo Stakers Facing Threat&nbsp; 
The EIP-7781 will also enhance the exposure of Ethereum smart contracts by cutting down the corroboration times by 33% and leveling out the “peak load” over many other slots. Some other developers also claimed that the cutting down of block times can lead to a threat to solo stakers.&nbsp;
Fugitive block times could lead to state growth. This will help in escalating the overall data over a blockchain. In an X post dated, October 6, Cinnehaim Ventures noted that the new proposal appears to be reasonable after introducing it to solo stakers all in all the gas limit block is kept untouched.&nbsp;
Additionally went on to say that he wants to check I/O hardware as well as staker return ping times that whether it breaks off some home stakers or not. However, the result is forecasted to be under the range for the majority.&nbsp;
If the stakers continue with the growing demands, the long-term way to decentralization of Ethereum could stand in a problematic situation.
The Ethereum co founder has already discussed the idea of cutting down the minimum amount needed to be a validator over the Ethereum network from 36 Ether amount to either 16 or 24 Ether amount. This step was decided to make the network security and decentralization more effective.
