The company has filed a lawsuit against the county, alleging that a new noise ordinance passed by local officials specifically targets them and constitutes discrimination.
Representatives of Newrays One LLC claim that the noise ordinance was crafted to hinder their operations, citing anti-Chinese sentiments in the region. The company has invested over $10 million to establish a mining farm housing 5,000 ASIC devices.
