With our bridge and MetaMask wallet now audited, we’re excited to announce the deployment of a testnet bridge.</p><p>To encourage participation, we’re setting aside 8,000 Qtum in bounties for community members who help us with testing. We’ll share further details in a few days.</p><h2 id="header-1">Great News on the MetaMask Front!</h2><p>We’re thrilled to announce that the Qtum MetaMask Snap has officially been listed on the<u><a href="https://snaps.metamask.io/snap/npm/qtumproject/qtum-wallet/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> Snaps Directory</a></u>.</p><p>Thank you very much to Consensys for their support. This audited wallet enhances the user experience, making it easier to interact with apps and other Web3 utilities on the Qtum Blockchain.</p><h2 id="header-2">Reflecting on Our Journey: 7th Anniversary Update</h2><p>In celebration of our 7th anniversary, we prepared an extensive report detailing our progress during Q1 and Q2 of 2024 and our vision for the future. This milestone was the perfect time to condense our journey into a comprehensive update. You can read the full report<u><a href="https://qtum.org/news/Qtum-7th-anniversary-update" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> here</a></u>.</p><h2 id="header-3">Development Teams and Upcoming Innovations</h2><p>As we look forward, we want to highlight the ongoing work of our three development teams:</p><ol><li>Qtum Core: This team ensures that we remain aligned with the latest updates from Bitcoin Core and the Ethereum Virtual Machine.</li><li>Qtum AI: Focused on leveraging our Nvidia GPUs, this team has already launched a chatbot and image generator using open-source models. Upcoming projects include an API enabling users to utilize these GPUs in exchange for Qtum.</li><li>Qtum Ecosystem: This team is dedicated to building infrastructure atop Qtum Core. Their next priority is facilitating the flow of stablecoins on Qtum and paving the way for DeFi and other Web3 applications.</li><li>Each team has its own roadmap, and Q3 and Q4 will be focused on deploying the technologies we developed earlier this year now that audits are complete and the code is ready for release.</li></ol><h2 id="header-4">A Heartfelt Thank You</h2><p>We are grateful for your continued support as we celebrate seven years in the Qtum ecosystem.
