<p>Launched on October 1, EigenLayer started to get traction by the community. Despite its price drop after a day of launch, this altcoin succeeded in reaching a market cap of $768 million. EigenLayer came to the spotlight after a $5.5 million worth of theft was <a href="https://coinpedia.org/news/eigenlayer-price-spikes-despite-5-5m-token-sale-scandal-and-justin-suns-sell-off/">discovered</a>. The initial price of $EIGEN was $3.89 which peaked at $4.4436 within a few hours of launch. As the news of theft caught air, the price plummeted, reaching $3.2 on October 3.</p>

<p>The crypto token is currently trading at $4.09 and is up by 20.91% in the last 24 hours. More importantly, its trading volume has spiked by 130% as compared to the past day.</p>   
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-monero">Monero</h2>   
<p>Monero, launched in 2014, has seen only two major bull runs—one in 2018 and another in 2021. It's currently down 70.33% from its peak of $517 in 2021. However, Monero has gained 4.59% in the past 24 hours, now trading at $153.25, with a 23.17% rise in trading volume. The price is facing resistance at $155, which could present a challenge for further gains.</p>

<p>Aptos, a layer-1 proof-of-stake blockchain, is building a strong presence in the DeFi sector. The token is currently trading at $9.24, up 4.23% in the past 24 hours, with a 2.12% increase in trading volume.</p>

<p>Each month, 1.01% of Aptos' maximum supply is unlocked, with the final unlock scheduled for October 12, 2026. Recently, Aptos has formed partnerships with several projects and even acquired HashPalette, boosting its profile in the DeFi world.</p>
