<h5><strong>What Is World Liberty Financial?</strong></h5>
<p><a href="https://x.com/worldlibertyfi" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">World Liberty Financial</a> is a new DeFi platform that lets users borrow and lend cryptocurrency, interact with liquidity pools, and use stablecoins. The platform’s token, WLFI, is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token that serves as the governance asset for the platform. That means if you hold WLFI, you can have a say in how the platform is run.</p>

<p>The team behind World Liberty Financial, including Zak Folkman, Chase Herro, and Zach Witkoff, explained in a recent <a href="https://medium.com/@wlfi/world-liberty-financial-seeks-to-revolutionize-finance-with-a-defi-protocol-that-will-be-built-for-3ec1f34ae7ac" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">blog post</a> that the platform will offer a wide range of services to its users. These include crypto lending, borrowing, and stablecoin transactions. In the United States, however, only accredited investors can take part. These investors typically need to make over $200,000 a year and have more than $1 million in assets to qualify.</p>
<p>While World Liberty Financial has already generated buzz, it didn’t offer much new information in the 90-minute talk held on October 14th. However, it did confirm that the WLFI token public sale will be open to everyone who qualifies through the whitelist. This public sale is an important step for the platform as it moves forward with its mission to offer a wide range of DeFi services.</p>
