<p>The Solana Foundation issued a Request for Proposals to <a href="https://forum.solana.com/t/solana-historical-state-verification-tool/2249" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">enhance </a>data integrity on the Solana blockchain. This project has funding of up to $275,000 and aims to construct the Solana Historical State Verification Tool.&nbsp;</p>  
<p>Developing a reliable, <a href="https://t.me/cryptonewsland/4678" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">open-source system</a> that can validate any state transition since Solana Mainnet's founding is the aim. August 31, next year, is the set deadline for project development applications being solicited for this project through November 15, 2024.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-key-features-of-the-proposal">Key Features of the Proposal</h2>  
<p>The proposed solution consists of several critical components. First, developers must create a standalone <a href="https://aws.amazon.com/what-is/cli/#:~:text=A%20command%20line%20interface%20(CLI)%20is%20a%20text%2Dbased,with%20a%20computer's%20operating%20system." target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">command-line interface</a> (CLI) tool for block and epoch verification. This tool will map block and epoch data to specific Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) versions and feature sets. Additionally, the solution must support multiple data archive formats. This flexibility ensures it can accommodate varying data types.</p>  
<p>Moreover, the tool will feature transaction replay capabilities using the correct historical code and features. This functionality will provide accurate data verification, which is crucial for maintaining trust in blockchain technology. Furthermore, parallel bank hash verification will enhance efficiency during the verification process. These features collectively aim to improve data verification on Solana.</p>  
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-deliverables-and-expectations">Deliverables and Expectations</h2>  
<p>The RFP outlines clear deliverables for the project. The successful proposal will need to include a detailed mapping of block and epoch data to SVM versions and features. Developers must also provide user-friendly documentation tailored for a non-technical audience.</p>  
<p>Additionally, comprehensive unit and integration testing must be included to ensure functionality and reliability. The final requirement is a <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/riot-exec-proposes-bitcoin-reserve-as-strategy-for-u-s-debt-management/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">two-year management plan</a> for both the tool and the dataset.</p>
