With only a short time left until the US Presidential elections, Donald Trump is leading his opponent Kamala Harris by a significant margin.
At this point, while the probability of Trump winning was priced at 59.7% on Polymarket, a mysterious trader named 'Fredi9999' supported Trump's victory and bet millions of dollars on Polymarket.
The political betting markets have been shaken by a mysterious trader known by the alias Fredi9999, who continues to place significant bets that former President Donald Trump will defeat Kamala Harris.
<h2 id="donald-trump-is-forwarding">Donald Trump is Forwarding!</h2>
According to a post by data analysis platform Lookonchain, the Trump-Harris race is heating up on the DeFi-focused prediction platform Polymarket, while the data continues to be in Trump's favor.
At this point, this trader purchased 1.59 million shares (worth approximately $938,000) of prediction market platform Polymarket.
LookOnChain noted that this whale currently holds 16.62 million shares (about $9.9 million) of the Trump victory bet.
As the gap between Vice President Kamala Harris and Trump widened to 19 points, experts say that anonymous Polymarket trader Fredi9999 was influential in the growing gap between the two candidates.
Experts also predict that increased betting and investment on Trump could push Trump and Harris' polling odds even higher and increase uncertainty in the market.
