This next-generation Orb is equipped with NVIDIA’s latest Jetson chipset, boasting up to five times the AI performance of its predecessor.Additionally, World has rolled out World ID 3.0, an upgraded version designed to enhance global verification capabilities. This new system includes features like World ID Credentials and Deep Face, allowing users with NFC-enabled passports to authenticate their identities directly through their devices.In a notable development, verified passport holders can now claim the native cryptocurrency, WLD, even before completing the full ID verification process with the Orb.On the same day, World Chain, a layer-2 blockchain network announced earlier this year, launched its mainnet. As of October 17, around 15 million users have either migrated or are in the process of migrating to <a href="https://optimisus.com/news/crypto-news/crypto-experts-accuse-worldcoin-of-price-manipulation-and-label-it-a-scam/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">World Chain</a>, which emphasizes human interactions and transactions over automated processes.
