This dramatic increase illustrates the burgeoning interest in NFTs among Telegram users.
Telegram's gaming community is at the forefront of this wave. Helika observed that gamers on this platform are not merely creating digital wallets but are rigorously engaging with NFTs. The report suggests that such active participation indicates a vibrant and dynamic ecosystem. In September, Helika recorded an impressive three million active wallets across nine different Telegram games.
Further data from Helika reveals that Telegram users are committing more time to gaming, with average sessions stretching from 2.8 minutes in August to 6.7 minutes by early October. This uptick is credited to more immersive gaming experiences available on the platform.
Among Telegram’s gaming repertoire, Hamster Kombat stands out. Garnering over 300 million users, the game plans to incorporate NFTs as in-game assets by November, during its Season 2. On September 25, the game outlined its roadmap for the remainder of 2024 and 2025, foretelling the launch of new games and NFT integration.
On October 17, Hamster Kombat released a teaser trailer for its upcoming season. The trailer gave a sneak peek of a storyline where players may act as CEOs, hinting at an opportunity to simulate executive-level roles within the game.
