Governance and crypto gambling are topping the headlines this week for crypto news. Top altcoins Cardano (ADA) and VeChain (VET) both introduced sweeping reforms to governance. Meanwhile, Rollblock’s crypto presale saw yet another price increase in the face of steady demand. This crypto casino is now expected to rally at least 100x in early 2025.

Cardano’s founder proposed a ‘bill of rights’ for the governance of the token. The news sent the Cardano price rallying over 10% higher, though it has since round-tripped these gains.
Cardano is a smaller Layer 1 blockchain, but it has a dedicated community of users and developers. The Cardano price could see a stronger and more persistent rally if the community leads the way on Layer 1 blockchain governance.

VeChain also released a governance-related upgrade this week with its VePassport. The VeChain price rallied around 5% after the upgrade was released, but it also managed to round-trip these gains.
Governance is arguably even more of an important issue in VeChain because of its common role in facilitating transactions. The VePassport upgrade could lead to a significant increase in adoption rates by developers, which would translate into a sustained rally for the VeChain price.

While Cardano and VeChain focused on governance, Rollblock added another strong price hike to its crypto presale this week in the face of insatiable demand for its tokens. Interest in this top altcoin has increased this week as it prepares for the rollout of its highly anticipated sports betting platform.
Sports betting represents around half of the $525 billion in annual revenue generated by the global gambling industry. Rollblock’s sports betting expansion will at least double its current rates of player and revenue growth, which are already breaking records.
Rollblock is already a viable and vibrant crypto casino, with more than 20,000 players enjoying over 7,000 provably fair games. Rollblock’s sports bettors will enjoy the same fast and seamless access through the latest in UX design.
Rollblock’s sports bettors will also have the same access to its game-changing profit-sharing program.
This program has up to 30% of weekly revenue from the casino used to fund open market buybacks. 60% of these tokens are burned on the spot to drive up the value of RBLK. The other 40% is used as rewards for staking with the platform to generate an income stream for holders.
Analysts have now doubled their early 2025 growth estimates to over 100x as a result of this imminent sports betting rollout.
