<p>Vietnam’s government has kicked off a big plan, the National Blockchain Strategy, to become a leading force in blockchain technology across Asia by 2030. Approved by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, the strategy sees blockchain as a <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/floki-marks-vietnam-to-be-its-next-key-location-for-floki-adoption-expansion-will-floki-price-break-1-this-cycle/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">key part of Vietnam’s digital growth</a>. A recent partnership between Ripple and TPBank, one of the country’s largest banks, supports this vision, making fast, real-time payments possible between Vietnam and Japan using $XRP.</p>

<p>The Fourth Industrial Revolution <a href="https://www.vietnam.vn/en/chinh-thuc-ban-hanh-chien-luoc-blockchain-quoc-gia/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">identifies</a> blockchain as a cornerstone of modern technology. With this initiative, Vietnam seeks to build a robust blockchain ecosystem that ensures data security, reliability, and updated digital infrastructure. Additionally, the government’s vision to become an international hub for blockchain deployment emphasizes strengthening national technology capabilities.</p>  
<p>Under the plan, the government will establish 20 blockchain brands focused on platforms, products, and services. The roadmap includes establishing at least three blockchain testing centers in key cities, aiming to connect them as a national network. Vietnam also plans to rank among Asia’s top 10 blockchain training and research institutions, solidifying its position as a blockchain innovator.</p>  
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-key-goals-and-the-path-forward">Key Goals and the Path Forward</h2>  
<p>The government has laid out five targeted actions to guide blockchain growth from 2024 to 2030. These actions include refining the legal framework, developing digital infrastructure, and fostering a blockchain-based <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2667344424000094#:~:text=It%20is%20characterized%20by%20the,transactions%20via%20a%20computer%20network." target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">industrial ecosystem</a>.&nbsp;</p>  
<p>Besides, building a skilled workforce is a priority, as is promoting research, innovation, and international collaboration. The Ministry of Information and Communications, along with other government entities, will lead these initiatives, ensuring comprehensive management and execution.</p>  
<p>The Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) plays a pivotal role, tasked with creating Vietnam-made blockchain platforms and promoting competitive, interconnected blockchain networks. According to VBA Vice President Phan Duc Trung, this strategy marks a key milestone for Vietnam’s digital economy, advancing transparency and economic sustainability. Trung emphasized the VBA’s commitment to <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/easya-announces-the-easya-x-polkadot-university-the-worlds-first-university-focused-on-blockchain-education/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">driving blockchain universalization</a> and increasing community engagement with blockchain’s potential.</p>
