We’re excited to announce the release of the latest version of ARK Vault! This update brings a refreshed user interface to align the experience with our other apps, including ARK Scan and ARK Connect. We’ve also included additional fixes and improvements based on user feedback.Over the past few months, we’ve been steadily updating ARK Vault’s design to align more closely with the look and feel of ARK Scan and ARK Connect. Alongside these visual updates, we’ve introduced additional user experience enhancements and visual cues to make the app easier to navigate. In this post, we’ll highlight the major changes, though we encourage you to explore and notice some subtler improvements. Let’s dive into the key changes.Explore the newly updated <a href="https://app.arkvault.io/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ARK Vault app </a> today, and check out the full release details in the <a href="https://github.com/ArdentHQ/arkvault/releases/tag/1.17.0" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Changelog on GitHub </a>.The refreshed experience now starts on the app’s homepage, where you can select or create a profile. We’ve added a feature carousel to showcase some of the app’s standout capabilities and revamped the profile creation and selection section with a more structured layout.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/dbc177373bc149169c16ecd8a268eb58.png" />Once on the portfolio page, you’ll notice that the biggest change is the table design of the added/imported wallets is now in line with the design of the ARK Scan table UI, with it removing identicons from the addresses to keep designs unified and consistent.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/ef54b8e46a9e42e59c44842caef6f4cd.png" />When creating or importing a profile, you’ll notice new icons beside titles, offering clear visual cues for your current page. Identicons have been removed, and visuals have been updated to better align with ARK Scan’s look and feel. On the completion screen, editing an address name is now more intuitive, with data presented in a cleaner, more structured format.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/a05772c91c224a7eb60fbc34cb7a85d9.png" />On the address page, the most noticeable update is in the transaction history section. We’ve aimed to unify the look and feel with ARK Scan, bringing these changes into ARK Vault for a more seamless, intuitive experience. The design now mirrors ARK Scan’s structure, with a focus on essential data, reducing visual clutter from less critical elements to enhance data clarity.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/26f3e731ab7442c69d811807be4e15a4.png" />You’ll see a similar structure when opening a detailed transaction view. The data is organized into connected sections, making it easy to follow and understand.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/19ef8ff23de1496180bca67a900c4277.png" />All transaction flow designs have been updated (see the example of the Send flow below). You’ll notice an updated design language that unifies the look across ARK ecosystem apps, with a strong emphasis on data presentation as the core focus.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/038f933d805c4aecb147f2184ae06b61.png" />We’ve also refined the ‘Exchanges’ user experience based on feedback. Many users weren’t aware they needed to manually sign transactions to exchange tokens, so we’ve added a clearer Sign flow and an option for manual transfer if preferred.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/23533489b3dd46ec827acb2519947b6f.png" />Above, we’ve highlighted some of the most visible and frequently used pages and flows. There’s still plenty more to explore on your own, including importing profiles, Ledger interactions, message verification and signing, data exporting, and more. We’ll also address minor UI bugs in the upcoming release.Our upcoming focus will be implementing Mainsail support, incorporating the latest EVM changes. While this update won’t focus as much on UI, it will involve extensive work to ensure ARK Vault integrates seamlessly with Mainsail and EVM.
