The leadership of<a href="https://news.todayq.com/coinbase-ceo-armstrong-is-not-scaling-back-its-crypto-advocacy/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Coinbase</a> has reportedly accepted trading plans that mention selling up to five million shares. The shares are estimated to be more than $900 million, as reported by Barron’s an American weekly magazine. The media outlet has also quoted the regulatory filings revealed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.&nbsp; 
The co-founder as well as chief executive officer of the leading crypto exchange, Brian Armstrong has taken action over a plan to sell about 3.75 million Class A shares, swappable from Class B shares held by the platform. This plan will be executed under rule 10b5-1, which permits the officials to establish predetermined trading schedules.&nbsp;&nbsp; When will the action take place? 
The action will be taken for about one year starting from November 18, 2024, to November 14, 2025. The Chief financial officer of the exchange, Alesia Haas has also given approval to the trading plan to sell up to around 153,896 Class A shares which will be initiated on January 2, 2025, and will run throughout the year 2025.&nbsp; 
Adding more to this, another co-founder Frederick Ehrsam III has planned to sell up around 866,122 Class A shares which will be initiated from November 25. The report further states that Paul Grewal, the chief legal officer of the exchange will sell about 151,005 Class A shares commencing on December 2.&nbsp; 
Another member of the leadership team, Fred Wilson, the director plans to commence the sell-off on November 7 this year for an estimation of about 50,000 Class A shares. If we talk about the COIN token, it has slumped down by 1.85% in pre-market trading, as reported by a stock market index, Nasdaq data.&nbsp; 
These stock sales are very old for the exchange and Ehrsam III has so far sold many shares of Coinbase worth millions of dollars. In December 2023, a reliable media source shared that the officials from Coinbase had sold COIN shares whose worth was more than $120 million. It has also clashed with the stock attaining a price of about $185.20, a notable surge of over 450% year-to-date last year.&nbsp; What does the Q3 report of Coinbase suggest Coinbase Global Inc. has gained the seventh continuous quarter of productive EBITDA and the fourth continuous quarter of optimistic net income. The exchange has opportunely broadened its revenue streams and services revenue on track to go over $2 billion this year, more than $1.4 billion listed last year.
