<p style="text-align: justify">Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiary MMS, in collaboration with Bankhaus Metzler, has initiated a pilot project aimed at utilizing excess energy for Bitcoin (BTC) mining. This project is designed to support BTC mining using electricity generated from renewable energy sources.</p>
<h2 id="bitcoin-mining-project">Bitcoin Mining Project</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">MMS, owned by the mobile giant T-Mobile, is implementing this pilot project in partnership with Bankhaus Metzler and RIVA Engineering GmbH. The project aims to test energy regulatory processes successfully applied in the United States and Finland within Germany.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The initiative plans to direct excess energy from renewable sources to BTC mining, developing mechanisms that can quickly respond to constant fluctuations in the energy grid. This approach seeks to provide solutions that can absorb energy fluctuations.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Oliver Nyderle, Head of Digital Trust and <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/samurai-shodown-r-launches-as-a-blockchain-based-mmorpg/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Web3</a> Infrastructure at Deutsche Telekom MMS, stated that the project was initiated to test its regulatory impact on the energy grid. Additionally, Hendrik König, Head of the Digital Assets Office at Bankhaus Metzler, noted the growing importance of <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/degen-chain-faces-unexpected-operational-outage/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">blockchain</a> technology in operational tasks beyond the financial sector, aiming to advance this technology in Germany.</p>

With this pilot project, the company aims to enhance energy efficiency and promote the use of renewable energy.</p>
